By the utilization of ceramic platelets suspended into its copolymer, elastic formula, RCB's microscopic platelets have the ability to form an overlapping ceramic shield during the drying process.  This ceramic shield has the ability to dissipate heat at a very rapid rate and to reflect heat back into the atmosphere rather than allow it to be conducted to the underlying surface.  RCB is classified as a Radiant Control Coating (RCC), similar to a radiant barrier, but much easier to apply or install.  RCB can be applied to virtually any surface.  It can be applied by brush, roller or spay gun.

RCB is also being used to lower energy consumption in houses, office buildings, roofs, warehouses, cold storage buildings, exposed HVAC ducts and even school bus roofs.  If it needs insulating, it needs RCB.
